As part of the Day-One activities, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, where they discussed ongoing research collaborations and the University’s commitment to supporting livestock innovation and food security initiatives. They also visited selected laboratories and research units within the Centre, where they interacted with scientists and project leads working on livestock genetics, feed systems, and disease control.
