USLGE and RSG Delegation Visit the University of Jos Veterinary Teaching Hospital
As part of their ongoing evaluation mission for the Small Ruminant Development Enhancement Project (SRDEP), the U.S. Livestock Genetics Export, Inc and Reproduction Specialty Group, Inc. delegation visited the University of Jos Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
As part of their ongoing evaluation mission for the Small Ruminant Development Enhancement Project (SRDEP), the U.S. Livestock Genetics Export, Inc and Reproduction Specialty Group, Inc. delegation visited the University of Jos Veterinary Teaching Hospital on October 13, 2025.
Led by Dr. Martin Sieber (President/CEO, USLGE) and Mr. Doug Edge (Chief Strategy Officer, RSG), the team was received by officials of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and the TCoEFS Director, Dr. Dauda Bawa.
The visitors were conducted around the hospital’s state-of-the-art diagnostic, clinical, and animal care facilities, where they commended the University for maintaining impressive standards in veterinary education, research, and service delivery.
According to Delegates, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s facilities “reflect a strong institutional foundation for the proposed livestock development program.”
Dr. Bawa further emphasized that the collaboration with USLGE and RSG aligns with the mission to enhance animal health systems, improve breeding practices, and support sustainable food security in Nigeria.
